The Art Room’s west end studio is shared with Tamarack West school. Filled with natural light and high ceilings, our 2,000 square foot space features two creative art studios, a library room, two bathrooms and a fully fenced in outdoor play area. Programming features after school classes; art camps; art instruction in the schools; and community outreach with various Toronto Public Libraries in and around the GTA.
After School Classes
For over eight years, our community arts studio has offered classes and camps for kids ages 5-14. Holly’s teaching is inspired by art history and students are encouraged to learn new techniques and styles through experimentation; creative use of a wide variety of materials; and fun background content (artist, genre, and process). Due to complexity and focus required, students must be 5 years old for our programming.
Classes will resume September 2024.
Art Camps
Thank you so much for your support! Our 2023 summer time together was so much fun and we can’t wait to do it all over again. Registration is now open for March Break and Summer Camps 2024.
