THE ART ROOM CELEBRATES 11 YEARS!
As a professional artist and arts educator Holly Wheatcroft has over twenty-five years of experience in the classroom and studio. Dedicated to enriching communities through an appreciation of the arts, Holly has also brought her programming to various local TDSB schools, Toronto public libraries, Girl Guides, street parties, and community centres.
Holly is proud to have been recognized by OCAD University with an excellence in teaching award. Other past experience includes member of the Toronto Public Art Commission at Toronto City Hall; museum and arts educator at PAMA (Brampton); arts educator at Visual Arts Mississauga; and College Instructor in Liberal Arts and Sciences in Montreal. Holly’s teaching is inspired by art history where students are encouraged to learn new techniques and styles through experimentation; creative use of a wide variety of materials; and fun background content (artist, genre, and process).
