REGISTRATION opens January 31 at 8 am! We already can’t wait to see you this summer.
WEEK ONE: The Masters June 29 - July 3, 2026 (4 days) $375 + HST
Painting, Drawing, and Sculpting using a whole host of materials such as acrylics, watercolour, POSCA, plasticine, and clay. We will be inspired by the fruit face of Arcimboldo (Renaissance); the landscapes of Cézanne; Cubist collages; the larger-than-life flowers of Georgia O’Keefe, and many more!
WEEK TWO: Painting and Drawing July 6 - July 10, 2026 $440 + HST
The mornings will be dedicated to drawing and the afternoons to painting. We will focus on drawing what we see by identifying shapes as a simple way to build up more complex compositions. We will draw portraits, animals, landscapes and still life. Painting projects will then build on/ be inspired by our new drawing skills!
WEEK THREE: Mixed Media July 13 - July 17, 2026 $440 + HST
Let’s create using as many different media as we can! Plaster, paint, paper, glue, glitter, string, found objects, pompoms, pastels, india ink, POSCA, plasticine, crayons, candles and more!
WEEK FOUR: Ceramics July 20 - July 24, 2026 $490 + HST
This week of ceramics will be all about vessels: bowls, mugs, vases, plates and soap dishes. We will focus on pinching and coiling with one full day dedicated to decorating and glazing. A selection of the completed pieces will then be fired, dishwasher / food safe, and ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after camp. The other clay creations will be brought home to air dry.
WEEK FIVE: Ceramics July 27 - July 31, 2026 $490 + HST
Week Five will focus on sculptural objects such as birds, monster faces, a fruit still life on a plate, and holders (i.e. candle and/or jewelry) with one full day dedicated to decorating and glazing. A selection of the completed pieces will then be fired, dishwasher / food safe, and ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after camp. The other clay creations will be brought home to air dry.
WEEK SIX: Ceramics August 4 - August 7, 2026 (4 days) $425 + HST
This last week of ceramics will be building on previous skills. PLEASE NOTE: For this week, campers must be over 6 years old and have some clay experience. We are hoping this week can be about more ambitious projects such as large Greek-inspired urns, a board game (tic-tac-toe or chess), or perhaps a matching tea cup set.
WEEK SEVEN: Paper Constructions August 10 - August 14, 2026 $440 + HST
This week will focus on the creation of an “owlery” (Harry Potter), where everything is created from scratch, including the stamps used in the tower design. We will also make stabiles (Calder), a board game, and moving animals.
WEEK EIGHT: Build Your Own Portfolio! August 17 - August 21, 2026 $440 + HST
Each student will receive a sketchbook and a “portfolio holder”. We will aim to fill both over the course of the week with as many different genres of art: drawing from life, landscapes, portraiture, sculpture (low relief and 3D), history painting, and abstraction.
WEEK NINE: Nature Art August 24- August 28, 2026 $440 + HST
Our last week, weather permitting, will be spent mostly outdoors: painting and drawing en plein air. The focus will be on still life, animals, landscapes and making art with found materials (i.e. a mobile using a found stick).
