THURSDAY MARCH 19 8:30 - 4 pm

CA$120.00

Today we will learn all about ancient Greek and Roman art and architecture. Draw the colosseum or a temple to Athena, make a Roman helmet or for the older campers: bead up some golden jewelry, and maybe create a pot or two (out of clay or with India ink).

The Art Room is excited to announce we will be hosting our March Break camps at 26 Sousa Mendes Street in the Junction (just a few units down from last summer’s location). The studio is over two floors and measures 2,300 square feet with large windows on three sides, a separate play area, two bathrooms, and most importantly, is located on a very safe street in a residential neighbourhood. We will walk to Perth Square Park for outdoor play after lunch, just two blocks away with no busy streets to cross.

Campers will be requested to leave with no refund if they are younger than 5 years old. Your child must be able to use the washroom themselves. Staff are never alone with a camper and therefore do not help change clothes. For younger campers, please pack an extra set of clothing in case of an accident.

The Art Room is nut free. Please bring two nut-free snacks and lunch, appropriate outdoor gear and a water bottle. A typical day at The Art Room for ages 5-13 is as follows: 8:30-9 am drop off, 9 am-11:30 art project + snack time, 11:30-1:30 lunch and outdoor play, 1:30-3:30 art project, 3:30-4 finishing up / cleaning up. A total of three completed art projects per day is usual. PLEASE NOTE: Registration is final with no refunds unless the spot can be filled waitlist or a friend.

Please respect The Art Room’s screen free zone policy. If a child and parent/ guardian need to communicate with one another, Holly’s phone at 416-906-2704 is always available.
